about

(trad. arr. Greig/Morrison)
Robbie Greig: fiddle, tenor guitar; Pàdruig Morrison: piano and accordion; Charlie Stewart: double bass

Robbie learnt these tunes from the playing of Calum Skaraas (tape SA1953/048). He’s always been a fan of West Highland ceilidh music and Calum’s style is a great example of that particular fiddle idiom. These two tunes are well known and well loved.
